Manchester City Woes, As they slump to another defeat,What seems to be the solution?

Manuel Pellegrini leaves the pitch at Selhurst Park with Yaya Toure after the defeat by Crystal Palace

Pellegrini leaves the stadium as Manchester City suffered their fifth defeat in seven matches
For a net spend of £500million on transfer fees since 2008, Manchester City might have expected to have done better this season than fourth place in the Premier League and early exits in all three cup competitions.
So what has gone wrong at The Etihad Stadium and, more importantly, what can be done to put it right? We look at five major problems and possible solutions.

PROBLEM ONE: MANAGER MANUEL PELLEGRINI... HOLISTIC BUT UNINSPIRING
After the turbulent reign of Roberto Mancini, City made great play of appointing a 'holistic' manager in Manuel Pellegrini; calm, experienced, diplomatic and boasting a decent track record in Europe.
Unfortunately, the 61-year-old Chilean is now viewed as dull, uninspiring, tactically rigid and unable to get the club past the last 16 in the Champions League. Patience in Abu Dhabi must be wearing thin.

Most worryingly, some of the players who downed tools for Mancini seem to be off-message again. Edin Dzeko enjoyed a brief resurrection under Pellegrini but looks desperately unhappy with his bit-part role this season. Yaya Toure hasn't hit the heights of last season while new signings Eliaquim Mangala, Fernando and Wilfried Bony – combined cost £73million – can't even get in the first XI.
Pellegrini is undoubtedly a decent man and has shown everyone – players, opponents, the media – respect. But it hasn't been enough to get results and City need someone a little less holistic and a little more forceful. Tactically, he has been stubborn too, the insistence on playing with two strikers in big games has rarely worked as City have been outfought in midfield.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Pep Guardiola is the man they want but the Bayern boss is unlikely to be available this summer. Bookies' favourite Carlo Ancelotti is a bit laissez-faire like Pellegrini - he's allowed the Ronaldo-Bale rivalry to spiral out of control at Real Madrid. Perhaps the solution is a one-year stint from a hard taskmaster like Rafa Benitez until Guardiola can come. Or how about Brendan Rodgers if he comes in a job lot with Raheem Sterling?
The Manchester City hierarchy want Pep Guardiola to replace Pellegrini as the club's manager

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers could also be considered as an option by City

7) John Obi Mikel – Net Worth: $15 Million

After just 6 appearances for Norwegian club Lyn Oslo, Mikel became infamous within the football world. In 2005 both Manchester United and Chelsea announced the signing of 18 year-old Mikel in what would become a protracted transfer saga. It was eventually settled in 2006 with Chelsea paying Lyn Oslo just £4million, whilst Manchester United received £12million without the player ever having played for them. The Nigerian has achieved great success at Chelsea winning the Premier League and Champions League amongst others, and reportedly earns $5million a year.

2) Didier Drogba – Net Worth: $70 Million

Didier Drogba’s enormous fortune is impressive, considering the Ivorian didn’t earn a big move until his 2004 transfer to Chelsea at the age of 26. Since then however the former Chelsea legend has signed a number of lucrative contracts. At the height of his powers at Chelsea he was paid $170,000 a week, a figure dwarfed however by the staggering $325,000 he earned in his short spell at Shanghai Shenhua. He earned about $5.2million a year at Galatasaray, and now back to his favorite Chelsea, however with a number of lucrative sponsorship deals his actual earnings a year are far more.

1) Samuel Eto’o – Net Worth: $90 Million

It’s no surprise that the man to have won a record four African Player of the Year trophies tops the list for the continent’s richest player. Goal.com put his net worth at $118 million (£70m), but given his extravagant lifestyle and his donations to several charity organizations we put the net worth at $90 million.
The Cameroonian striker has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Everton and currently Sampdoria. His goal-scoring prowess has seen him not only rewarded with mega wages but huge sponsorship deals, however the player also gives a lot of money to charity, much like Didier Drogba, and has set up the Samuel Eto’o Foundation in his home country.

Usain Bolt Starts Football Career With Shock Man United Transfer

According to a british online football site, World renowned sprinter Usain Bolt has officially started his football career after being handed a short-term contract at Manchester United.

A sprinter by trade, Bolt has never been shy about his love for United and football in general, often declaring that he’s good enough to play alongside Wayne Rooney and co. And Louis van Gaal is set to give the Jamaican the chance prove himself – with a deal agreed for him to play in the reserves.

As Bolt isn’t actually a footballer, he is eligible to be registered as a United reserve at any time, but will fulfill a number of athletics commitments before meeting up with the squad. Bolt – who can run 100 metres in 9.58 seconds – is thought to be planning to retire from athletics in 2017 but could bring that date forward should he be given a chance in United’s first team.
