Boxing, the advanced form of fighting , hand to hand punches, with history making rivalries which have taken place , some much bigger than expected. When you see boxing fights between two legendary boxers like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield which produced about $100.2 million fight purse, you might be forgiven to think you've seen it all . But now the most expensive and probably most epic boxing fight in history will take place later this year when Floyd Mayweather takes on Manny Pacquiao.


1. Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao Fight Purse ($250 million) :
The fight for which every one is waiting will take place on the 2nd of May, this year when WBA &WBC welterweight world champion, Floyd Mayweather will fight with Philippine boxer, Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. It is well known to all that huge money will be split for the boxers in the fight purse. According to some news sources the fight purse will be around $250 Million.
 


2. Floyd Mayweather vs Saul Alvarez Fight Purse ($150 million) :
Floyd Mayweather is undefeated, a leading champion every boxer wants to fight with. Saul Alvarez got one big title fight with him in 2013 . Floyd Mayweather won the match up against Saul Alvarez and it generated a  fight purse of around $150 million, which was the highest so far before the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight was confirmed.

One of the most talked-about boxing matches ever is the match up between legendary boxer, Mike Tyson who had faced Evander Holyfield before and lost. The match made history as the most expensive boxing fights in the 90’s.
Evander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson II, billed as "The Sound and the Fury" and afterwards infamously referred to as "The Bite Fight", took place on June 28, 1997 for the WBA Heavyweight Championship. It achieved notoriety as one of the most bizarre fights in boxing history, after Tyson bit off part of Holyfield's ear and also one of the most expensive ever.
