Draw for the 2014-15 Champions League quarter finals is out

The draw for this season's European Champions League 2014/15 quarter finals has taken place in Nyon, Switzerland and it pits the top clubs in European football against one another in a scintillating last 8.
The draw which took place around 11am today features three Spanish clubs, two French, one German,one Italian and one Portuguese club.

 All English clubs, whom were dominant a few years back, seem to have mellowed as they were unceremoniously dumped out in the last 16. From all indications, it seems the Spanish clubs are becoming the dominant force in European soccer, while the french clubs are becoming stronger.
The highlight of the draw sees two Spanish giants, Athletico and Real Madrid bring an age long rivalry into the fore front of the competition again. It will be remembered that both were the finalist in last seasons competition, with Real narrowly stealing the win.
Another match up that seems to be mouth watering sees Zlatan Ibrahimovic return to the camp nou to face former club, Barcelona.
