The Most Racially Abused Players: Liverpool Strikers Top The List

Social media is playing a huge part in our lives nowadays and most teenagers and adults alike can’t live without their twitter or facebook or instagram. We spend insane amounts of times on our Iphones and blackberry’s uploading and checking and watching others.

Mario Balotelli has been crowned one of the social media kings but for all the wrong reasons as he has the unklucky title of the most racially targeted footballer on social media.

Mario Balotelli has been targeted with more than 4,000 racist messages via social media this season, according to new research from anti-discrimination body Kick It Out.

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck and Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge have also each received more than 1,000 discriminatory messages.

This highlights the downside these social media sites as no human should have to tolerate that, but it’s the world that we are accepting more and more. Very sad.
